Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Serenity Begins

  • Highlights: Meet your guide at Paro International Airport and take a scenic drive to Thimphu. Stop at the Tachog Lhakhang Bridge and monastery en route.

  • Experience: In Thimphu, enjoy an evening walk through the city’s craft bazaars.

Day 2: Exploring Thimphu’s Spiritual and Cultural Heart

  • Morning: Visit Buddha Dordenma, a massive golden statue overlooking the valley, and Motithang Takin Preserve to learn about Bhutan’s national animal.

  • Afternoon: Explore the National Textile Museum and engage in a weaving workshop with local artisans.

  • Evening: Optional evening spa or hot stone bath at your resort.

Day 3: Thimphu to Dochula Pass to Paro

  • Morning: Drive through the breathtaking Dochula Pass with its 108 chortens. Stop for a tea ceremony with views of the Himalayas.

  • Afternoon: Return to Paro and visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples.

Day 4: Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) Hike

  • Morning: Hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery perched on a cliff. 

  • Afternoon: Return to Paro for a traditional attire experience with live Bhutanese music and dance.

  • Evening: Feast under the stars at a historical Dzong.

Day 5: Departure from Paro

  • Reflect on your journey with a morning meditation and a private farewell ceremony. Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
